Possibilities for the development of Armenian-Polish cooperation were discussed
The Ministry of Emergency Situations hosted Polish-Armenian benefactors from Poland, through whose efforts during the 44-day Artsakh war, extensive humanitarian aid was provided to the population of the border settlements of Armenia and Artsakh Republic.
Waldemar Shibitsky, the owner of "Shibitski" company engaged in the production of fire equipment, vehicles and civil defense property in Poland and Head of the delegation provided a large amount of property and equipment free of charge to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Receiving the guests, Andranik Piloyan, the Acting Minister of Emergency Situations expressed his gratitude for the support and assured that the friendly relations and cooperation will be continuous.
"I'm in this wonderful country for the first time and I think there are many opportunities to cooperate and help each other. We will discuss those prospects during the meeting of today. We plan to send new firefighting equipment to Armenia in the near future", said Waldemar Shibitsky.
Minister of Emergency Situations awarded with "Cooperation for Salvation" medals and the Director of the Rescue Service with diplomas Valdemar Shibitsky, Sergey Natsevsky, Varuzhan Martirosyan and Vagharshak Amirkhanyan for their assistance during the Artsakh war at the end of the meeting.
