Regulations of the “National Defense and Security 2021” contest held within the framework of International Exhibition of Civil Security Technologies «Arm-Security»
The Contest is held by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia and the Police of the Republic of Armenia within the framework of the annual International Exhibition of High Security Technologies “Arm-Security” (hereinafter - the exhibition) with the aim of encouraging organizations and enterprises, innovative developments and turnkey solutions supporting the technical re-equipment of units of the ministries and departments of the Republic of Armenia directly related to the protection of the population and the state.
The organizers of the contest “Civil Defence and Security” are the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia and the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
The Contest Jury (Panel of Experts) of the “Civil Defence and Security” Contest is composed of specialists from the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, as well as other organizations subordinate to them.
The Secretariat of the Civil Defence and Security Contest is the Directorate of the Arm-Security International Exhibition.
Special nominations of the "Civil Defence and Security" Contest:
- Emergency safety and rescue operations.
- Information and technical means of emergency situations monitoring.
-Technical means and complexes of emergency response.
- Technical means of rescue and fire safety.
- Means of ensuring industrial and environmental safety.
- Emergency medicine.
- Rescue services and fire units equipment and gear.
- Integrated automated information systems of urban infrastructures.
- Artificial intelligence in security systems.
Nominations for the best exhibition booth:
• The best booth design;
• The most informative booth;
• Best product presentation.
The winner of each category of the Civil Defence and Security Contest is awarded a medal and a diploma. The Contest Commission may additionally decide on awarding the Grand Prix to one or several participants of the Contest program.
The application should be presented/sent to the Exhibition Directorate.
Stage 2. Evaluation of the materials presented by the participants by the Contest Jury - until August 25, 2021.
Stage 3. Participants of the Contest, selected by the Contest Jury, give their personal presentations of the products at their booths (up to 10 minutes). Based on the results of the discussion, the Contest Jury sums up the results, and prepares the list of Winners of the Contest.
